THE PLAY:

UNEARTHED is a fierce and celebratory new play written by Stephanie Dale, directed by Penny Levick, with costumes designed by Maddie Pescod from Arts University Bournemouth. Our play officer is Ruth Hayes. The project is being documented, photographed by Jayne Jackson and produced by Stephanie Dale, with Dorchester Arts, in association with Lighthouse Poole.

 

The play follows Sam, a young person whose encounters with 12 remarkable Dorset women - each with their own life stories of resilience and triumph - profoundly changes both Sam’s outlook and the lives of the women themselves.
